Price and availability of Guyanas?

Well I think it's time. I have decided that my next aquisition will be a Guyanan (sp?) BCC. (Hope I've typed that right)

What kind of availability is there for the species? At what cost?

Who is breeding these guys in Canada?

Several of the larger wholesallers in Ontario and Montreal have them listed right now so they are readily available. Invictus might still have a young sexed pair available.

I may be having a litter from the below pairing in the next couple months (by my calculations she should drop between August and November sometime, if she has anything).

6' Male

Female
7.5' Female

Captive bred are still not as common up here as Colombians yet, the bulk of the market is generally farmed or wild-caught. They can vary in price depending on history, appearance, etc. They generally start at around $225 and can exceed $1500.

If I see little ones I'm keeping my fingers crossed! My female is just average, hopefully they come out looking like their dad. I can't wait until my other girl is old enough, I'm really excited to pair him with her! Maybe in a year or two...
