Cali King Shedding

My 50/50 cali king shed his skin lass than a mounth ago and he is already going into shed again what is wrong with him i am worried please help me.

nothoing is wrong he is prob just growing when young thay shed more offen than older snakes

I havent seen any mites but there was a gnat in there would bugs and mites make him shed often

Bugs, mites, injuries, or he could just be growing quickly.

You'll need to provide more info(enclosure, substrate, other symptoms, temperatures, feeding regimen, etc)...

I have him in a 20 long and he has bed a beast for bedding and he is fed 2 to 3 full grown mice a week

Sorry i forgot the temp, it is in the hot spot in the low 80's and there are no other symptomsthat i can see

i would cut back on the feed a little or you will have the same prob i have with one of my cornsnakes i picked up frome a freand a few weeks ago go look at fat corn in the post on corns ,Just my thoughts Paul

The feeding schedule would explain why its shedding so much, I too think you should cut down. My adult breeders don't get that much too eat. I would stick to 1 or 2 a week & thats still plenty. Mark

My cali king shed for the first time last week, since I've had him and it came off in one piece so I saved it! He's such an awesome snake, my first at that! He's got a good temperment and he's not jumpy. I try to hold him every day if not every other!
