Baby Pueblan...

I have just acquired a baby pueblan male and he is a frisky little chap. He has nice colours but I have been told that the red will become more intense as he gets older (he is 6 months now).

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good shot of an adult male, please. I did find a couple of pics through google but they were not very clear.

Thanks.

If your pueblan is 6 months and not so hot looking then its not going to get much better. Pueblans come out of the egg with stunning colors.

If anything your snake will start to dull out a bit considering almost all snakes dull in color with age. In short it really depends if you snake is going to gain color or start to dull but if it was 6 months of age and already not very nice looking then its not going to turn out for you so to say.

Oh definitely. Its not always the color that makes a snake its the personality that makes a snake cool IMO. Snake colors are just a nice addition but they are definitely not the main factor in what a snake should be considered.

He isn't a bad looking little chap. The stripes are well-spaced and he has a nice face. it's just that even after a shed his colours aren't as striking as some piccies that i've seen.

Now my Cali king is a different matter. She is gorgeous. Striped desert phase. Long black unbroken stripe running down her back which just breaks a tiny bit when it touches her tail.
