melamine enclosure swelling?

Hey.. my white lip's enclosure just recently started to swell out in one corner after some heavy hydration (stupid snake spilled her water tub).. is there anyway to prevent any further damage? would common silicon/ or aquarium silicon work?

any way to reverse the damage?

cheers,

justin

No way to reverse it. Dry it out as best you can then seal the seams with 100% silicone (hair dryer or heat gun). Particle board is horendous for absorbing water.
