i found that eggs incubated in dried media have a little better hacth rate....as long as all the requirements are met, leaving them in the cage is fine, however, you will have a problem if you dont get to the hatchlings a short time after hatching....the adults will eat the babies if given the chance....so because of this, I dont recommend incubating in the cage, but its up to you!
