Depends on what you are using it for. Controlling mites, maybe?
Be aware that this stuff will kill certain snakes, such as pit vipers. Also, it is not be used around some lizards and certainly not amphibians or invertebrates (if I correctly recall).

yes it for mites.........i also know about amphibians and specially invertabrates.......this mix here would be for a 5 ft iguana/.....i know that ivomec can be used safely on reptiles as injections or topical {this one is for external use only(ivomec 5mg 0.5%w/v)} as long as the mix is right.

I don't know about ivomec. I would prbably ask your vet before using it if you don't find any here with experience with it. Just so you know Nix (lice shampoo) does wonders to get rid of mites. Mix a bottle with about 5 litres of water. Then put it in a spray bottle and mist away. Then repeat after two days. Then in another two days and you should be ok.

Our Vets around here unfortunatly do not work with reptiles. This is why i posted it here.........nix i find works really well but does not treat internal parasites.....even tho the Ivomec i have is for external use, it also treats for internal parasites..i own a reptile store and i know ive lost reptiles before due to internal parasites...if i wouldve had Ivomec then mabye i couldve saved them. For today im only trying to fix a little mite problem (wich i usually clear up no problem) with an iguana but the ivomec is for the future....thanx
