Hidden Garter Snake
Found this Garter snake up north by a beach. Left it for a bit, then came back to see it with a frog in its mouth. I filmed it eating the frog on my digital camera, but he was hidden most of the time so it didn't turn out too well.
I do have better pictures that I'll post later.

bottom third of the pic, you can see some of it above the brown leaf... look for the stripes.

I some how have trained myself to spot the unseen. I can usually spot an animal in full camo, that others just DONT see. I think my brain serches for patterns, or breaks in common patterns, and it usualluy reveals a hiding animal

Found the snake right away. Garter snakes are awesome i found a redphase this year.
