i dont think it is really a loss. i mean, how many times are you gonna produce something like that even if it is dead? i would put it on a jar on my coffee table, a warped little conversation piece.

forhaldahyde (sp) works best. if ur serious about preserving it, u should do it sooner rather than later, cuz the quicker u get it into chemicals, the better it will keep.

I forgot what the eternal freezing is called, but I think vets do it. This means you can have it out in the open any where without it's skin being affected.
Or a stuffer?0_*

Tres bizzare. Congrats on all the babies that did survive though. Yeah, I'd probably preserve something like that too after it died, just for the sheer oddity of it.

wow, thats crazy. kind of like the cal king that was at san fran zoo, i think...
that will be awesome if you preserve it...i think thunder was talking about formaldehyde [sp? again], which would probably be your best bet.
but yeah, congrats on the rest of your litter nonetheless....

Although I agree you should preserve the hatchling, Last I heard Formaldehyde has now been proven too be a carcinogen. I would suggest an alcohol base too preserve the specimen.

Or a taxidermist? (spelling) a good one could do a good job for fairly cheap.
