Look what is arriving the day after I got back from HongKong

I got back yesterday and a couple of the eggs looked deflated. These are my first soft type eggs to hatch so I figured that they were going bad. They were laid June 14th (2 days after my wedding) and are hatching 1 day after I got back from my honeymoon in Hong Kong. I also have 25 more eggs that were laid by my other female. Maybe I should go away more often. I can't wait till they are out of the eggs so I can take a ton of pictures. 1 is out so far, 5 have pipped, and there are 23 total eggs in this batch that will hopefully hatch.

I have to change the top of the incubator to glass so I can see in. Today I kept looking in to see if more were coming out.

Greg

These will hopefully available at the TARAS fall show or shortly after. If you are interested in these babies after seeing the parents on my website, send me an e-mail to beardies@cornelsworld.com. The parents are totally unrelated at least back to their grandparents and came from Gold Coast Bearded Dragons. Pics available of the parents, babies, and grandparents available upon request.

More pictures this morning. 6 out so far and a couple more have pipped. Can wait to get them out of the incubator. A couple of them were already storming around while the others rested from their long hatching experience.

Look like there is a little bit of red already showing on the backs of these babies as well as behind the ear

Congratulations Greg! That’s a nice welcome home surprise. They should be some nice babies… I have seen the parents and they are really nice! That male is a screamer.

By the way, Congratulations on getting married!

Congats as well on both the marriage and baby beardies.

Just a question, is that vermiculite you are using?

Thanks for the comments everyone. So will we be seeing all of you at the TARAS Fall show? Tim? Other Tim? Anyone else?

See you all at the show.

14 are out now with 4 more heads poking and possibly 5 more eggs that I am not sure about.

Here are more pictures

I used perilite this time as I had some available when they were laid. They hatched so it seems to work, but would like to experiment some different substrates to see if one works better for me than the other.
