wats up people, i just got back from a reptile show and ended up buying a corn and a leo. my corn is one week old and i was wondering when should i start feeding the lil buger and what should i feed him? also, does he look like a aztec amel?
i just measured him, and he turned out to be 12 inches.... does that seem too big for a one weeker? when is the normal age that they will start eating?
Most corns will feed for the first time after their first shed which happens at about 10 days after hatch. We feed a single pinky mouse for the first meal (frozen thawed fine, but some will prefer live for first couple meals).
It does look like it has a bit of aztec (zig zag) pattern on the back.
congrats on the new purchase, hope he does well for you.
