Well, if it is 50% HET caramel, there is a 50% chance that over many years you will produce a snake that looks like this:
http://www.newenglandreptile.com/bal...melalbino.html
If you read through that page, you can see that it is a genetic trait that is high in value right now. As long as he's not charging you an arm and a leg for this snake, I would say go for it. BUT, there is the MORE THAN LIKELY chance that the snake is a complete normal. But if you want to fool around with it to have some fun, go for it. Get paperwork for the snake, and make sure the seller/breeder is reputable.
Take care,
Jennifer

I haven't heard anything bad about them; never have done business with them though.

Before purchasing, I would go to faunaclassifieds.com and do a search on the BOI and make sure that this breeder is legitimate, and doesn't have a history of bad transactions. Also, I hope you enjoy your PB, I like mine most with J...
Actually Jen, if he's a reputable dealer, there is a 50% chance of him being het, it's not "more than likely" that he'll be a normal at all, I've seen some great things come from a poss. het breedings.
