rheostat

I have a little info for some people a rheostat and a $5 light dimmer at walmart or hardware store is the same thing as a rheostat. they even make then where you screw them into where the light bulb screwws in and then the light bulb screws in it it works well. then you could wire them to your uth just like one you buy at the pet store

I got a tip from Roy Stockwell about wireing them. I used to wire them right to the UTH but now I buy a cheap extention cord and wire the dimmer to that so I don't butcher my UTH incase I ever have to return it. Also with using a cord you can plug in as many as three UTH's at a time.
Cheers,
Trevor

Well Roy's been around for 25 years. I guess when you're in to it that long you pick up some tricks along the way.
