Thanks for the post Linds....

Now we can all simply link people to that thread! You ROCK. This is going to save hours, easily, not to mention arguements and the scaring off of new-bees.

Thumbs up to Linds on the Boa FAQ! :

Thanks! We came to the conclusion that it really would help the site overall to add FAQ sheets to the forums, so keep an eye out for many more to come, as all of the mods are working on adding FAQ sheets to all the species-specific and some of the other forums as well!

Great idea!

I've only been coming to this site for maybe a couple of years now and I know I've heard the same questions over and over, I can only imagine how you guys that have been here from the start feel! lol!

That one post answers pretty much every conceivable basic care question, clearly and beautifully written too I might add. Linds, if you don't in some way make money writing already you should really consider it, honestly. It isn't often good info and good writing are in the same place at the same time.

I think the permanent, locked post idea is such a good one that I'd like to see more of them for other things, such as basic genetics questions and maybe even a sort of morph catalogue constructed from pictures volunteered by members of the site.

I know, I know, easy to say but a tonne of work to actually do... still I think those ideas would generate a lot of new traffic to the site. I'm not really all talk though, I'm willing to offer all the help a nearly computer illiterate guy with a dial up connection could possibly offer. lol! For now though, keep these care related ones coming!

Thanks again guys!

Mousekilla,
LOL I'm not making money from anything at this point I've never really felt the need to pursue anything in the field of writing/english though. I used to be in to poetry and reading, but now I can't stand any of it!

Chuck911jeep,
It is definitely one of the forums that will be getting a FAQ sheet, all in good time however

FAQs like these should be used and posted all over the place, that would be very usefull for tons of people, especially those new to the species...
