They usually lay pairs...
Don't attempt to remove it. All you need to do is get a small deli container and place a moist substrate in it. This could be peat/spaghnum moss or even moist paper towel... You could use vermiculite too if you can keep it from falling out.
You need to tape or hot glue the deli tray with the moist media over the egg on the glass...
Then just leave it alone... It should hatch if its fertile and doesn dry out... It could take up to 3 months

Do you think it is fine if i start doing it right now after it has been laid for a week already?

Btw i dont really get what you are saying. Do you mean i use something moist for the substrate like peat moss or like vermiculite or paper towels and then just put duct tape over the deli cup to cover the egg? peat moss will fall out so will vermiculite. I am lost.

Anyways i researched about the eggs on the net and i decided to put some holes in the deli cup and put some vermiculite and then mist the vermiculite and then duct tape it over the tape. Does this sound good to you guys?

I've had complete success in a densely planted vivarium not doing anything with the eggs. Just mist more often to ensure higher humidity and they will hatch out, but like posted earlier it could take up to three months. I find Tokays extremely interestring in their habits. They are the only gecko species that have a form of maternal instinct, they will watch over the eggs until they hatch and they are very protective of the babies once they hatch. I have raised babies with their parents, right up to adult size with no problems of cannabilism or anything. Anyways good luck with your egg and keep us posted.

Ok thanks a lot so now i think i am going with leaving the egg alone. How long would that take? When it hatches, the baby is gonna fall and die wouldnt it?

More comments would be nice. I am just very paranoid because it is my first ever egg.
