Messing around / guess the snake part 2, electric boogaloo

Took some more pictures. I’ve posted some other pictures in the various snake forums also.

Started experimenting a bit. This one isn’t the best, but I like how his face is in focus. This is our male, by the way.

Look how the water sits on the snake. Katt new the word, rhymes with Habiscus or something.

I’m now artsy fartsy!

Guess this snake

And this one

Scrub and a Rock - that didn't take long!

So "artsy fartsy" is a term used in Manitoba too, eh?

Artsy fartsy is used in all well educated circles.

It's called a meniscus. It occurs b/ water is polar and is attracted to itself.

Nice artsy fartsy shot! Should take one of those windblown huts near Liebenthal!

I still think, Katt's close-up of the Diamond is better.

Which would be due to its viscosity, correct?

No, viscosity is how "thick" a liquid is. The meniscus occurs in short because of surface tension. Put mercury in a test tube of water and you get an opposite (convex) meniscus. Its pretty cool.
