I don't know how it happened, but...
Somehow, I seem to have been followed home from the FVHS show with even MORE colubrids I think I've been well and truly corrupted now... lol. Although they are still outnumbered by the boids
Actually, I did go to the show with plans to pick up a beautiful 50/50 cal king from my friend Alecia, and possibly find a boyfriend for her as well -- so, everything went according to plan I'm very happy with both of them -- beautiful black & white, just like I like 'em! Both are late '03 babies...
Here they are! I apologize for the crappy pics, I'll get some better ones later...
First, here's Luna, the female (named for the moon shaped marking on her head) -- thanks to Alecia for selling me this beauty! :
And, here's Checkers, the male Purchased from Henry Piorun...
So far, Checkers seems pretty calm... Luna's a little on the hyper side though, and also decided that it would be fun to musk me while I was trying to take her picture But, I'm sure she'll calm down eventually... lol. And, they've both taken their first meals with me no problem, which is always a relief... Took them a while to get the fuzzies down, but they did it. LOL.
Thanks for looking!
Jen

Now that's how a 50/50 calking should look! The female especially. Great specimens! Congrats!

Thanks everyone! I'm really looking forward to these guys being able to breed, they should make some pretty awesome babies I think!
Fo, thanks... I actually didn't name him, my friend did. LOL. I asked him if he had any suggestions, because I was totally blank trying to come up with something to call this guy. It's not usually my type of name, but it seemed to fit, so I went with it He's probably the only one of my herps with a "normal" pet-ish name... lol...
