plywood

HI IS PLYWOOD SAFE TO USE IN AN ENCLOSURE TO YOU HAVE TO SPECIALLY TREAT IT?

plywood is relatively safe. It offgasses less than particle type woods, but it does still offgass a bit.
It is best to seal it with a water based sealer (I use Minwax Polycrylic). Plywood is about the best compromise (for wood). Solid wood is better as far as offgassing, but solid wood warps much easier. Exterior grade plywood is better than interior grade (exterior doesn't use urea formaldehyde glue).
Like I say .. seal it and then let it sit with the heat and lights on for at least 3 or 4 days and you should be okay.
