Age and size.

Alright, at about 1.5 to 2 years, how long should a California King Snake be?

Like Kevin said, it depends how often they are being fed, temperatures, food type... lots of things...

I would say about 3 feet long... ??? I'm not too sure. I've never measured my Cal Kings! lol

If he looks healthy, has good muscle tone (not too skinny, not too fat) and has a good appetite, don't worry about AGE vs SIZE.

Also depends on the genetics of the snake. I have a one year old at around 30". But, I also have a 4 year old that's only at 36". So, you can see how much it can vary from snake to snake even within the same subspecie . Like Cranwill said, if it looks healthy, that's what really matters .
