Taiwan beauty eggs!
Female started laying today, (It rained and stormed last night and this morning) there are 6 out so far, and it looks like she's got a few more. The eggs seem so tiny - i will weigh them, but we just got finished with burm and N. pine eggs, so I guess almost any egg would seem small in comparison.
She is also a very large snake, and I know she can hol a lot more than 6. Last time she laid, in 2002, she had 13 eggs - she is larger now.
I was concerned with the pinkish tone of the first 2, but the 4 since all look normal. They are very round, I remember them being long and slender the first time - I will try to find the pictures I took of them back then.

Congrats~!
I can definitely see that you're excited already Ryan~
and yes...I think that comparing them to Burm and Pine eggs the beauty eggs do seem a bit small...now try to compare these with the corn eggs....LOL

No problem Ken, females of this clutch are going to be $800. But now that we have that in writing, there shouldn't be any problems.
Looks like she laid another 4, so now we are at 10.
I'd be happy with 10, as earlier this year I thought they would not breed - but we warmed them up and misted them and saw breeding a couple of months ago. The female has been off of food for about as long, which is not the norm with her. She's gotten to be huge, I wish I'd have weighed her before she laid eggs.
I've got coarser vermiculite this time, and I am more confident using that stuff - so hopefully things will go well during the cooking process.
Thanks for the kind words
Ryan

20 eggs out, and I think she is done. One looks like a slug - the others appear o.k. I might take pictures of them tommorrow.....
