Exo Terra?

I am looking for a heat pad to heat a large rubbermaid. I was looking at the Zoo Med ones that are solid black because that is what I have always used. Today I saw an Exo Terra one that was clear and had black stripes, kinda looked like heat tape. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has used the Exo Terra ones because it is cheaper and cheap is a plus. Any feedback would be great.
Thanks

Exo Terra work fine when hooked up to a reostat, however I am using the large heating pads for most of my snake enclosures.
I have about 8 in use now and have had no problems whatsoever.

I will be using heat tape for my racks systems though.

Cheers
Brian

It looks like heat tape because it IS heat tape. Why not get some heat tape and save yourself a buttload of cash. All those UTH's are are a piece of black rubber over a slice of heat tape and VOILA!! Quadruple the price.
