Anyone know any information on Scheltopusik. Wandering if they are pretty good captives and if you can find C/B. Also would anybody know of a care website for them. I will keep looking for caresheets but cant seem to find any. Thanks for any information on these-Jason
you can NOT find captive bred. they have only been bred in captivity by one zoo. i do know someone who is attempting to breed them, but so far nothing. they are unsexable except by their behavior, so just guess work. i have kept them, so if u have any specific questions, feel free to ask. i have found them to be really fun to keep and very hardy.
oh, and they are not really glass lizards. they have no fracture lines, and do not drop their tails, whereas true glass lizards drop them if u look at them wrong. they have now been placed in their own genus.
