If anyone has any tips to help find...
Well, out of my absolute stupidity, I left my small veiled chameleons reptarium unzipped outside.. Anyone have any tips on how to possibly find him? He was on my deck and the closest plant is a big bush, but there are also a couple of large trees nearby, but probably a minimum of 15 feet from the site. I'm hoping I just stumble across him while he's basking or something one day.. If anyone has lost their outside and found it, please let me know where abouts it was to aid in the recapture of mine.. He is only about 6" which doesnt help too much..

I lost my vieled when I left him on a plant one time(i was on the phone) I looked for about an hour and didnt find him, this was a bushy are with some trees near by area, so i went out for the night and when I came back it was pretty cold outside. I remembered that when a chameleon is cold it climbs as high as it can get. so luckily there were only 3 trees and the rest were pretty low bushes. sure enough I found him looking for heat on one of the higher branches. Just before the sun goes down when its kinda of chilly try to look at all the higher branches. I know its a bad feeling and I wish you all the luck.

well dude i dont know lol I hate to lauph but thats really harsh.
I just know i can loose my chams in there 4x6x3 set ups, taking me 10 sometimes 15 minutes to find. It looks like youll be searching for a needle in a hay stack, with a 6 inch long cham.
all i can say is good luck.

I also wanna say good luck. You should keep looking, he could be gone within 24/h. You have to think about wild animals around such as racoons, birds, owl, squrriels and chipmuks. I have never lost a chameleon out side but it can be very hard. "Everyone makes mistakes, only a fool will make the same one" Just be careful next time
Good luck

Ok thanks everyone, he was actually found today on the bush beside the deck... It is the closest plant so I figured that that's where he'd be.
