Another newbie
Hey guys! My name is Anna and I live in Alabama. I'm a student at Troy University and have a newfound interest in lizards and amphibians. I grew up owning cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and the sort but as a child I was always fascinated by the frogs that lived in my neighbor's pond. I used to catch the babies and play with them for a few hours and then set them free again. Well, my boyfriend and I decided to get two Firebelly Toads last weekend and since then I've been trying to learn everything I can about them. Also, I am very interested in getting a leopard gecko but I want to make sure I know everything I need to know first. I probably won't be able to get one until the fall at least because of financial reasons, so in the meantime I'm reading everything I can get my hands on and making lists of things I need to get for the gecko. Well, that's about all about me. Our two frogs are named Frogee and Dottie and you can see pictures of them here: Frogee and Dottie The darker one is Frogee and the brighter one is Dottie.

hey thegeckoteam,
thanks for your willingness to help. i have a couple of questions for now, i'm sure i'll have more later! #1, is it safe to order leos through mail? #2, do you sell the geckos you breed? #3, do you suggest any certain online places to buy them, if it's safe? #4, do you know of any breeders in Alabama?

Hi Anna-
Yes, it's safe to ship. We ship in insulated boxes with hot or cold packs depending on weather. We ship via UPS overnight so the animals aren't in the box longer than 17 hours MAX. Yes, we sell some the babies we breed. We have some on our website right now for sale. http://www.thegeckoteam.com We also still have about 20 eggs in the incubator if you don't see something you like now.

Thank you soooo much! I'm not gonna be able to get my gecko until at least August because I'm in college and am living in a temporary place for the summer where I can't have pets. I also want to have time to get everything set up for the gecko before I buy it. But, when I get ready to get one I will DEFINITELY check out your website. The one's on there right now are sooo cute! Well, once again, thank you.
Anna
