Building a new enclosure

I am building a new enclosure for my BRB. It is goin to be 4 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet. Its being made out of oak and we are going to stain it cherry. Its goin to be on legs about a foot and a half off the ground. I am taking pictures so in about a month or so when I am finished I will post them. The front is going to be glass and the top will be a lifting class top. Does anyone know the best way to light something like this withought setting a light on top of the enclosure?

Did and...

I did and then it started to get real hot in parts and it turned blood red. It seemed like it was melting.

Take an 18" fluorescent from WalMart, they're like $5or6 and open it up. run the cord straight out the back and then mount it to the back wall so that it covers the hole in the back of the enclosure, no wires exposed then... Pretty easy.
