Ok, I am getting my showbox ready for my soon to come corn, and i was wondering what size of holes should I put on the lid, for ventilation? and how many holes? I think 2 would be good, but i'd like to be sure... and with what can u make the holes? i dont have a drill, and if there's another way, i'd like to know, rather than buying a drill lol
any info is apreciated.
you can also take a nail hold it in a pair of pliers and put the nail into a flame it will heat up and then just gently push it through the box. i would start with 30 ish holes and if it is too humid put in more holes.

I use a soldering Iron to make the holes. I've cracked rubbermaids before using a drill.
Here's a pic of my shoe boxes,
Oh and by the way my corns are due anytime time now. Also I'm hosting the next NB herp meet and greet at my place on July 10th. I've got a ssnakess.com t-shirt to give out as a door prize and there will be a bbq. There are already some people from Moncton coming up from the site here.
Hey hey easy on the French jokes that's what I teach you know!lol
You can get a small soldering iron at Canadian Tire or Radio shack for like ten bucks.
As for the meet and greet so far it looks like 10 people or so. Should be fun. It's a great chance to meet other snake owners and share tips and tricks and stuff like that. E-mail me if you need my number or directions and stuff.
Cheers,
Trevor
