Question Traveling with Snakes

I might be going to Taiwan or China for about 6 months. I would love to take my BCIs with me, But I have no idea if I can or what kind of process that would be. Anyone have any advice?

My advice is sell them before you go. buy new ones when you return, unless you can find a good friend that will keep them half a year.
you can't take snakes as carry on luggage with any airline, plus they are CITES appendix two. You would have to prove legal origin and apply to the Canadian government for an export permit. Then you would need to book a separate live cargo flight for them.
Then once they are legally out of Canada and into Taiwan, you can't bring them back without then getting a similar CITES export permit from the Taiwanese government...
Its a logistical nightware
