Size does matter! Who has the largest BCC?
I've seen some pics of some monster BCC and I've read about them but most people think that 12' BCC are the exception and not the rule.
So to satisfy my curisosity I would like to see who here has the largest/longest. I'm also curiourse to know how old these snakes are.
Thanks for taking part,
Trevor

I tried (<a href="http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25759&highlight=largest ">in this thread</a>) to find some huge boa pics a while back, but really didn't have much luck, other than the usual pics from Tom McCarthy's site.
My Bcc are just average. My adult female is 8.5 years and under 7.5' feet, my adult male is about 6 years old and almost 6' in length. My subadult female is 2+ years and 4.5'.

You know linds I got thinking about it and I have a 6' Colombian now. I can't imagine if she was to put on another 6' that would be insane. I think that a lot of these 12-15 BCC out there are just a tad bit smaller then maybe their owners think they are.
Even if no giants turn it up it will still be fun to see which members has the largest BCC.
Cheers,
Trevor

The bigest one I own is a 5-6yrs old guyana and is 8½ft. Here's a pic I posted before.
And the bigest one I've hold is one of Stav BCC, not sure if it's a suri or guyana, the lenght is about 10-11ft if I remenber corectly. Not the best pics but belive me he's HUGE :bugged: Never saw such a big head before, really impressive.

Holy sheets!
I remember the one in the first pic but that friggin head! Good God.
I don't keep any BCC myself (yet!), are they typically bigger or smaller than BCI?

Yes typically BCC are bigger then BCI.
Here is my 6' 11lb BCI. She has shed about three times since this pic and is now closer to 13lbs.
She's 6' and that is lots big for me I can't imagine what those 12' female BCC's must be like. I have seen some monsters on line but I want to see if anyone here hase one.

Wow, she's remarkably similar in both size and coloration to my male (looks like lots of pink there anyway).
And I know what you mean about 6' being lots, I've been in a couple of wrestling matches with my guy trying to unwrap him from table legs or putting him back in his cage. They're such powerful creatures I can't imagine what they're like at 10' plus.
P.S.
Is that you in the picture with the "I'm about to beat you to death with this big snake" facial expression going on? lol!
