New widow!

Hi all!
A pic of my widow; you can see her in the middle of the photograph. She made her web there, and likes to hang upside down (??) I gave her a mealworm the other day, and she has a very different eating style than the pouncing tarantulas I am used to.
First, she tapped it with her foot, and it moved. Then she threw loops and loops of web over it, and tapped it again. It moved, so she added more silk. Then finally, she cautiously approached, and nipped it, then backed off. Another tap with the foot, another quick nip, and more waiting. She only started to eat when she was positive it was 'safe'. Interesting, and very dainty!
Thanks so much, RMBolton!

Yep, this is how you'll always find her. They are either completely motionless in their web, and upside down; or traversing their web, and upside down...

My pleasure, I am glad she's doing well for you...
Cheers,
