Indonesian Vs. Australian White’s ?
Ok everyone, I am trying too figuring out which form of Whites tree frog I have, I will take a few better pics tonight. For now here is one I have on hand.
Now, I am having trouble figuring out which form I have. I have seen many pictures of White's that just don’t look like mine they seem less "dumpy" looking. and often look smaller as well as much duller in color. The pic there is him being a darker green, he goes a very dark brown, almost black if something bothering him. And on the flip side turns VERY light blue/green, and when he’s in a very "bright" mood he has patches of almost sky blue on him. I have heard that the Indonesian form does not change color, but I have no idea how much truth there is too that?
I am almost positive he’s male due too the fact he is easily set into calling. Any loud noise and he has a blast.
Any info would be great. The reason I am asking is because I would really like too get another female too match him. They are amazing animals but I cant seem too find a lot like mine (that pic does him no justice).
Thanks,
Devon

Colour looks Indo, but the lack of HUGE sympatric ridges look Aussie.
Either way, VERY cool and HEALTHY-looking froggie man! Holy moly!
I used to have 18 of those buggers. I miss them every day now. Probably my all-time favorite amphibian.

I couldn’t imagine getting rid of him, I picked him up too see how I would like keeping amphibians and wow, he is an amazing little creature, I’d like too get a few females, and try my hand at breeding them. Hence why I'm trying too figure out if he is an Aussie or indo.

You sure that's a "he"? Looks mighty big to be a male.
All the Aussies and Indos have been crossed and mixed. The ONLY way to be sure what you have is to get a WC Indo. There are no WC Aussies, so any CB White's could be a CB pure Aussie, or a CB Aussie x Indo.
Best of luck! Post more pics!!

Omg that White's looks sooooo great! I am not sure which he is, but I just wanted to comment because your frog is terribly cute and healthy looking. Any more pics?

australians tend to be more of a blueish coloration, im sure you have an indo, they are way more common, where did you get it from and how much, aussies are usually more expensive.

Hey, thanks for the compliments. I picked him up at a local pet shop, I went in asking about them and they said they new of one they could get in, and called me shortly after too let me know he had arrived, They wouldn’t say where it came from. I am fairly sure he is male because he loves too call. I know females can call as well, but almost any noise can set this guy off like you wouldn’t believe. I would love too get a hold of a female that looks like him. I've been busy but here's another pic.
It's a bit blurry, but I took a few new pics of him last night, I'll try too get them posted tomorrow.
