starting to dig

So how long does this mean i can hope for eggs approxemetly. She just started yesterday and shes extremely plump! I saw all the vermiculite in the laying box shifted to one corner and the floor was revealed so i added more vermiculite so she can dig more. Im so excited! These are going to be the first eggs ive fully completed myself...mating, and incubating.

later

Did you check to see if she laid her eggs yet? She might have done the deed already if it's piled up in one spot and she left the box. Sometimes they'll dig for days, other times they'll dig a hole, lay and get out. One of my females digs test holes for about a week, the final hole takes her forever to get it just right. She almost tries to dig the proverbial hole to China.

If it is already in a pile, they should be laid. I found some eggs on monday in that exact same situation... now they're incubating at 80-81.5!
