Females are as easy to get as males, it's all in the incubation temperature.

None of the eggs get warmer then 72F, average temp range is 68-70F, though sometimes it gets down to 65F for a few hours overnight. I keep them in the basement. Male temps are from around 72-78F, and above that it goes female again. There's not much info about 'hot' females in cresties but I've seen references to them, so maybe it's just being noticed. If there are hot females, it's probably the same deal as with leopards - females from high end range in incubation temps that normally would be males.

What do you mean by "hot"? I've seen it used a few times but I'm not sure about it's meaning. I'm guessing it means homosexual.

The term "hot female" is most commonly used for leopard geckos. At the extreme high end of the incubation temperature you should get males, but once in a while females hatch out. They show the aggressive tendencies of males towards others of their gender, and also take a few years to get the hang of breeding. They reject males for mating for a year or two, fight them off like males fight each other, though not quite to the death. Even when they first start breeding, they take a bit longer to get the egg laying process figured out. Eventually though, they do breed. Some cresites apparently also show these tendencies, but I have only heard rumours about it, never seen one myself. The descriptions closely match the "hot females" in leopards. It's a theory that some, many or most female cresties who hatch from eggs incubated at the hot end might be following the same trend, but there's not a lot of solid data, just anecdotal evidence so far.

So DragnDrop,
What do you think of Chicklet? She is growing like a weed!! And talk about appetite! She is such the skilled hunter, hangs on the glass and waits for a cricket to pass them WHAM! you barely even see her strike she is that fast...
She is doing very well, and I am pretty safe to assume at this point that yes she is a she afterall!!
