Talking Two new cage setups.......finally !

Slow but sure...

Definitely not my usual motto but with alot of business travel, I have had to adopt it for my new herp room and cages.

Here are two new cages that I set up. The cages were built by John of JD terrariums. The cages are minus the glass doors and locks along with a water bowl. The RHP and probes cannot be seen but each is controlled by a temp control. In fact I am using the 4 probe temp control from GCS reptiles I bought from Grant VG.

Here is one ATB cage ...

A closer look ..

The IJ cage ...

A closer look ...

Here is the first shot of my room with cages. There are alot more to come in but it's a good start. I will be putting my 3 in 1 cage in the middle of these two. I will then move these two on a bit of an angle. I also hae two more cages being built exactly like these ones that will sit on top. And thats just my bigger snakes, I have a few smaller boids! Like I said...lots more to do!

I will continue to show more pics as cages come in!

Any advice would be great as decorating cages is not a great trait of mine

Great cages Tony, love it when set-ups look just as nice as the china cabinet or other nice pieces of furniture lol, decorating looks good as well, nice choice of wood for the frame.

Are those cages made of Oak veneer on one side, and melamine on the inside, or is the inside of the cage just painted?

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Always good to see a plan coming together!

Greg, the cages have a plastic inlay inside. Easy to clean and looks great. I do not know the specifics as John made them but I know I love them!
