ok, which of these reptiles

ok im still not sure of wut reptile to pick . . . . . . . its between the frilled dragon or collard lizard or plated lizard . . . . . . . . . or if u have any other idea, im not a super good reptile person....... all i have is 2 leos and one 5 lined skink and one frog. i want something that can live 3 with out eating

Ya anything you get is gonna need to eat alot...ecspecially something "Hyper" as you explained you wanted....Frillies eat alot...so do Collards. I suggest a Beardie truthfully. Very easy since you dont know much about Reptiles. Or as Adam suggested....a snake. Get a nice BP!

Goto your nearest petstore and go through the library of books they have there and choose what you like. Just don't buy it from the petstore.... Books give you basics, and may help you find something that suits you.

no, if you want a snake go for a corn! I'm a corn lover and they are super eaters. Not like some bp that can be fussy eaters.And a corn would love a 70 gallon tank! If you want a great lizard that is hyper but not so hyper that you can take him out and play with him or spend some time with you should go for a bearded or a uro. I have both along with blue tongues. Blue tongues are my absolute favorites but they are only hyper as juvies adults calm down considerably and are almost dog tame. Most that is. But they need to eat every day and young blue tongues are often hungry most of the time. lol, they think if it moves it's food. My guys eat once or twice a day, the adults will eat every other day but it's nice to give them the option of salad daily. Beardies will also eat daily if you offer it and imo it should be offered. If you want something that doesn't cost much to feed and doens't have to be fed often I'd go with a corn snake.

One thing I suggest is to continue researching and only make your final decision once you are absolutely possitive you will be happy with your decision and not change your mind a month or two later. I babysat collard lizards for 3 weeks once and was glad to have the opportunity because I realized callards are not a reptile I'm too interested in. They are too hyper for me and didn't like much handling. They were absolute eating machines and always on the go. I like herps that I can take out and spend time with. I'm not big on lookers but I do have some cresteds, they aren't a gecko to be handled often but they are just so cute I can't resist their sweet little eyelashes and big happy smile.
Well, good luck with your decision. There are so many wonderful reptiles that a decision on one can be extraordanary hard to make. Just take your time and I'm sure you will find the perfect pet for you.

Ya, I have about 30 leos, they are great!! Not as easy as my fattie though, even hatchlings are pretty easy to handle in the fat tials.

As was already pointed out, if you want a reptile you dont need to feed daily, get a snake. Corns are great snakes for someone with less herp experience. If you're worried about getting bit, get a yearling, or just make sure you can handle it before you buy it. Make sure it's accepting frozen/thawed rodents. Everyone has their favorite snake, but other good beginner snakes (IMO) include California (and many other) Kingsnakes, Honduran Milksnakes, Western hognose, or if you do the research WRT feeding, Ball Pythons.

As far as "hyper" goes, the kings are more active than the others I've mentioned.

Blue tongued skinks don't need to eat daily once they are adults. I feed my twice a week. Only as babies do they need to eat often.
