2004 Egg Count So Far
Well after 15 clutches so far its 213/247. Thats 247 eggs total & 213 appear good to hatch later (I will lose a few here for sure though too DOH!). #16 & #17 are currently being laid & approx 13 possible clutches left to go for the first go round WOO HOO! Makes daily cleaning much more fun when there is a clutch or 2 almost every day. Its looking like its going to get pretty crazy around here come 6-8 weeks from now as I'm hoping on possibly having approx 300+ offspring from the first clutches. No wonder my mice breeders love me LOL It will be "Pinkyville" here soon enough. Mark

Wow Mark your usually busy. At this time of year you must only get about two hours of sleep! It's all worth it though when those little guys start hatching. Keep up the good work and you will get over run with babies!

Incubating are Vietnamese Blue Beauties, Children's Pythons, L. Texas Rats, Various Corns, Various Cal Kings & Jungle Corns (albinos & hets). Waiting on my Graybands & maybe my Knoblochi & JCP? No BPs or Mex Milks, DOH. Hopefully Eastern Indigos at Kyle's also. This time of year ain't so bad. Its when they are all hatching & need to be fed as well as the adults which also need to be breeding & then egglaying going on too. Thats when its crazy when it goes from around 70 snakes to 300 & some in a couple weeks time WOO HOO! Right now the boys are too horny & the females too gravid to eat really. No eat no poop, its all about eggs almost : ) That ends quick as the females are all hungry after egglaying & will need some good meals before round 2 begins. Mark's GONE SNAKEE! Yep 259/293 after 17 :w

Well lost a few more Amel striped eggs (-5) but had 2 GBs drop (12&13) so looking at 300 good ones out of 360 after 22 laid & 7 females that may still lay for the first go round. Mark

THX everyone else : ) Well the last Grayband dropped 15 & my Tarahumara Mtn. King dropped 7 & 14 more Jungle Corn eggs too WOO HOO! 400 eggs laid after 25 clutches now & 336 are incubating (thats 84% fertility folks lol). I was lucky on the knoblochis as I had screwed up & put the nesting box in with the male DUH I caught her just after she laid the first one in her water dish & quickly placed her in the nesting box where she laid the rest (nesting boxes are important Boys & Girls ; ) ). 3 more possible girls for first go round & round 2 of breedings has already begun. Childrens Pythons should be the first hatch in approx 1 weeks time or so & Vietnamese Blue Beatuies will be due Fathers Day weekend. Mid July is when most everything else will be due & will be kinda crazy but thats OK I like crazy Heh Heh Mark
P.S. HATCH HATCH HATCH ALREADY!!! :grab:
