I meant to do this months ago after we moved but I haven't had the chance (been too busy with house stuff).
As you can see compared to our old herp room we've got plenty of room and can probably fit some more cages and another rack or two.
the table is a temporary spot for the Soloman Island Ground Boa and where I feed the ball pythons. Colubrid and python cages.
Boa and Python Cages and the closet where we keep some supplies.
The colubrid and python cages again, along with the first two racks katey and I built.
Boa cages plus sweater box rack. The cooler for transporting snakes.
The cardboard is to block direct sunlight and help keep the temps steady. The window that isn't covered by cardboard is a north facing window and doesn't have any direct sunlight.
Eventually we plan on hooking our computerised thermostat up to both the heater and the air conditioner (of course we'll be taking out the AC in winter) so the room can have different temps during the day/night. We also plan on plumbing in a tap so that we can use a garden hose to fill water bowls.
Yes that hidious wall paper is going to go, it looks worse in real life. You should have seen the bathroom. I'm not sure what we're going to do with the floor... Right now it's painted pressboard and I think it's a little thin in a spot or two, we'll probably lay down some plywood to strengthen the floor and put down tile/linolium.
