new at feeding

fed my baby boa tonight for the first time. I fed him a live hopper mouse and next i will try a prekilled or frozen. my question is, should I feed rats instead of mice or are rats too big now for him?

I doubt you'd have any problems feeding him rat pups. Personally, I've never had a problem with my boa eating whatever. He'll eat whatever I give him, from mice to rats to whatever. Unlike ball pythons, I've found that boas aren't really all that fussy when it comes to eating.
Take care

My Ball has never been fussy about food, he'll eat just about anything that you put in front of him that has fur on it. Now if only he would take an interest in the neighbour's yowling cat hmmmmmm

Even the largest mouse is too small for a boa. Get him onto rats ASAP.
