found the eggs....too late?

They eggs are dry to the touch but havent collapsed yet, I would say they were laid an hour or so before hand in not very moist vermiculite I have them in a deli cup of the properly moistened vermiculite and placed a bit of damp paper towel ontop to help with getting the eggs the proper moisture. Do you think its too late or do I still have a chance of healthy live eggs?

I wouldnt stress it Wilma. Ive had eggs come back from the driest of conditions and hatch out with no problems. Moist vermeculite is usually all it takes for a few days, and they are fine.
