Incubator pic...

Thought I'd finally get around to posting a pic of my favourite incubator...

It utilizes a "Helix" thermostat governing two 30" lengths of 3-inch heat-tape, and a small computer-fan which runs 24/7.
It is accurate to within one degree F, and has hatched everything from Ball Pythons to Bearded Dragons.

The door hinges downwards on a piano-hinge. The unit is made of Birch plywood, and was built for me years ago by a friend and very talented cabinet-maker who passed away last year.

Thanks for looking.

Very impressive - much nicer looking than my Thermos cooler version! I assume you maintain humidity within each individual egg container? Best of luck for all the clutches this year and thanks for sharing the photo,

Thanks, folks.

Crazyboy; I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I didn't realize that it was going to be quite so "ornate" - it was a surprise Christmas present from my "better half", who had it built for me in complete secrecy, lol!.

Mary; Yes, I keep my eggs on vermiculite in separate containers within the incubator. You don't want humidity inside the actual incubator, or you could run into trouble with your electrics depending upon what you're using.
And, all the best to you this season, as well!

Cheers!
