heating question???

Hey everybody!!! I have an 8ft red tail boa and a 3 ft baby burm, and I was just curious on what the difference was between a heat lamp and a heat emitter and what is better?? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

I assume by "heat emitter" you're referring to the ceramic heat emitters. The most obvious difference is that the CHE doesn't put out light, only heat. They supposedly last 5 years.
