hibernation

Is it mandatory to have corns hibernate whether your breeding them or not? Since it occurs naturally in the wild in colder climates. If so... What temperature should it be?

No it's not mandatory. Last year my pair of snows gave me 20 fertile eggs in total without being brumated.

I did brumate them this year, along with my kings, for future experience with it. Usually you want to keep temps 50-55, that seems to be the most suggested temp. Mine went between 50-60F and did fine.

Your missing my question Jeff. If you go back and read it again it says or not as in if not planning to breed them. What I'm trying to find out is... Do they have to be hibernated at all like during the winter? or Is it ok to keep them active all year?

It is 100% fine to keep them active all year, it is also fine to breed them without brumating, or brumating.

It's your choice, either way is fine.
