Awesome! What did you breed your yellow ratsnake to? I thought they were born yellowish? Good luck with them!

The parents are 2 yellow rats...they were given to me by 2 different people, and were both supposed to be males LOL...then one day I looked in, and OOPS they were engaged in, ah, certain activities... not long after, ta-da! Little babies!! (Who could ask for cuter grandchildren?)
As for the babies being yellow...to be honest, I've never seen baby yellow rats before this!
Anyone have pics of yellow babies???

The babies are not yellow , they gain the adult colours as they mature. It is actually quite hard to tell the differance between black and yellow ratsnake babies. Everglades ratsnakes start out a lot lighter but still not just yellow.

I have 3 yellow rats and they vary in color from baby to almost adulthood from yellow to olive green to a brownish orange. I have one right now that i bought last week she has the circles like a ball and is brown and orange and very very agresive as well as my other 2. Are they always this way with yours or do you handle them? Mine are so agresive that i can't even pick them up. please any rat snake owners reply to this agressiveness
