Question tops

I have 40 gal glass tank for my BP and a chicken wire top, but i've been finding that alot of heat and moisture escapes threw that. is there something that I could make a top out of that would insulate the heat and moisture?
thanx,

you can also use plastic bags. Found out that works great. if not really damp towels that will work to. for a while until they dry out.

How do plastic bags work as a lid? How would any ventilation get through to the snake? Same thing with damp towels. How would towels work as a lid? Where would the ventilation come from? ??? I would think that's asking for a bacteria bomb (for lack of a better expression).

Country:
if you put a towel over your face you can still breathe

anyways, you only put the towel over half of the screen lid

How about something that isn't 95% hole? Maybe some plexi or glass....
