I have never owned Viper Geckos so I cannot comment on them, but Goldens are easily stressed and a cage mate, even another Golden can cause problems. Buy one, or buy two set ups and do it responsibly.
Viper geckos are small and terrestrial, goldens are large and aboreal....no. The golden will eat that thing the second it sees it, not to mention they are from different climates and don't have the same care needs.

ok thanks. i really dont know much about geckos, but im pretty sure they have different needs. also, i figured since they arent the same species, that it would probably cause stress and/or fights. i just wanted to make sure it definately isnt a good idea for him to house them together. im going to tell him tongiht that he really needs to have two seperate set-ups for them.
