joining the cornsnake craze

So this weekend im looking to trade my kenyan sand boa, since its just given me headackes, for an albino cornsnake. Im pretty happy about the idea as this corn is still a baby and i still get to see it grow!

Ill sorta miss the lil bugger but imo i just dont want something that is a feeding challange like them. I just want something easy to feed and do all i need. I just dont have time to figure out techniques and things to get them to eat...lol...i know im gonna get some yells for this but i just want something that just eats with no hassles. It would be better if i could spell hassles though. :P

actually, although most corns are absolute pigs, you do get the rare ones that don't want to eat, or eat sporadicly.

I'm not sure how long till it gets mature, do you mean mature to breed, or considered an adult?

Welcome to the world of corns!

you said your kenyan sand boa was hard to feed? my neighbor's boa eats weekly with no problems. but like sapphire moon said, some snakes pig out, some are picky eaters.

anyway, i hope the deal goes through as planned and you enjoy your snake. good luck with it.

Didn't you just get that boa? Its seems like only a couple of weeks ago that you were asking all kinds of questions about them and trying to decide whether it was the right snake for you or not. Have you given it enough time to acclimate before deciding that its a picky eater?

Also, as others have said, while most corns are easy to feed there are the odd picky ones. One of mine will not eat unless I put her in a deli cup with the food item. And, she always refuses the first meal I offer and will eat the second, which means that although I offer food every 5 days, she actually only eats ever 10 days.
