hardwoods and softwoods

I know that ppl in this forum are pissed for seeing this question for the millionth time, but i am paranoid when it comes to my snake. So here comes the question:

Are all hardwoods safe when it comes to use them as branches in the enclosure?

Thanks (and sorry for bugging you! )

.......

I would ONLY use hardwoods (aka deciduous trees) for branches. Conifers in any shape or form do not belong in a reptile cage.

Oh yeah...

And don't use Black Walnut. (juglans ). I think its poisonous too. But its a very valuable tree as well, so I don't think you'd get away with cutting one down!!

Good luck. What are the climbing branches for?

if you decide to use some soft wood for branches make sure you seal it with minwax polycrylic
