Question Snow Corn

Since Snow Corns are albino. Should I keep it out of direct sunlight ? I'm asking because I know some people who are albino and they have to avoid direct sunlight. It should apply to my Snow also. Yes ? No ?

Why not? Would you like to be in direct sunlight with no melanin or eyelids?

yea light filtered througha window shoudl be ok. but it could give the snake cataracts more easily. but the skin shoudl be ok.

I just think it's a non-issue with captive snakes. Not because the sun wouldn't bother them but because of how much direct sunlight a captive snake will usually be exposed to. Are you housing it outside with no hides? When is it being exposed and for how long? It's not going to be a big issue for most captive snakes unless you walk to the store with the snake around your neck everyday...

That last post was a lot better than a plain old "no."

I have a few snow corns do like i do, If your going to put them in direct sunlight atleast provide a hide for them. I have noticed a few of my corns actualy come out and sun on a rock in the sunlight I also recomend turning of your heat source during the day if you have them in the direct sunlight as you can overheat there tanks very fast if you don't I also find that to much heat brings out the natural yellow in a snowcorn more deeply and unattractivly
