Well since I'm in the Netherlands and I have to wait until this Sunday to go to a rep show here, I've been living vicariouly through all of the posts. I think I was almost as excited as y'all about the TARAS, even though I don't know what that stands for. Now I'm really hyped for our show! Plan on getting 1:2 crested geckos. Who knows maybe a rosy or kenyan, if they are available here.

Didn't get anything at the show, but like Mark, just prior to the show - we got 2 female boas (one is just absolutely amazing, will make nice salmon boas some day, hopefully soon) and a whitethroat / blackthroat monitor lizard.
Also got our male blackhead python back from his vacation. Now that he's back home, I see he's got some growing to do before he will be ready to go in with our female - she really dwarfs him in size.

I'll let Erin post what she got, but here were my spoils:
1.0 Yellow kenyan.... oh wait.... I was GOING to get that one, but I delayed my purchase, and a certain little blonde girl who has already posted in this thread got it.... who could that be? lol
Ok, what I did get:
1.0 HUGE male Jungle Carpet Python - The biggest male I have ever personally seen - Thanks Mark IsBell!
0.1 Anery Aztec (zig-zag) corn - About 3/4 of the body is Aztec - Thanks again Mark IsBell!
0.1 Miami Phase corn snake - Thanks Katt & Vanan!
0.1 BCI - Super light with an ELECTRIC tail - Thanks Henry Piorun! Pleasure to finally do some business with ya!
0.1 Dumeril's boa - VERY pretty girl. Thanks for trading, Varanus69!
1.0 Adult Amazon tree boa - garden phase, with a typical ATB personality - Thanks Senator Gracken!
And here's the one that will shock you the most....
0.0.1 Pink Toe Tarantula - adult or sub-adult - Thanks Walter!
Yes, that's right folks... I got MYSELF a Tarantula. Me, Mr. Arachnophobe. Only one way to cure a phobia though!
Thanks to everyone who made this a really fun show, even we didn't end up doing any business. It was really a fantastic time, including the sleep dep. Katt & Vanan, you two were awesome company for the weekend and you are welcome any time!
So, Edmonton this weekend, then BC, then Red Deer, then the Fall show... I'll see how many of these I can make it to.

Ken if it makes ya feel any better about 1/2 hour after you left there was a very upset lady looking for that Aztec, thus the saying goes "He (or she) who hesitates... " LOL
I too wasn't much for spiders before (still not LOL) but a couple of years back I bought like 37 at once that had all needed new homes (setups) right away from Stan S. (Spiders Calgary) they were doing some major "herd thinning". You would have got a big laugh of me chasing them around with chopsticks trying to get them out of the old ones into the new ones. Ah yes, face the fear LOL Give me a big Python any day over them LOL

Thanks, gonesnakee. I was trying to figure it out. You don't want to know some of the things I came up with!

0.1 Leopard Gecko - She's a normal (I believe), and she was very gravid when I got her. So, I now have two eggs incubating. Thank-you Jeff T!
0.0.1 Pink Toe Tarantula - Sub-adult or adult. Thank-you Walter!
1.0 Northern Pine Snake - Enormous in size, beautiful light pink and black colours. Thank-you Katt and Vanan!
I'm very pleased that Ken has finally gotten into tarantulas, they're really quite nice pets, and are very addictive. It was really nice meeting you Katt And Vanan, and you were a pleasure to hang out with all weekend! You guys are more then welcome to stay with us again!
