Tats
Okay I'm just curious by nature. So how many of us have tats? They don't nessessarily have to be of snakes or any other rep. Just in general. I personally have 7. I'm always looking for more though. Tats and reps can both be very addicting and expensive habits.

I've got 3 but none with reptiles. I would like to get a tat of a Gaboon viper or bushmaster but it would have to be realistic. No flames, wings or laser beam eyes. Maybe some day.

I have a Snake/ Skull/Dagger, which will end up being a sleave, a Dragon/heart with my kids name/ and a spyder on my leg...shots some where in my gallery.
Cheers

Right now I only have three. Would've been more had I found my new tattooist, Justin, earlier, as well as I often am too wishy washy with my ideas to settle on something. My previous one put me on the backburner when it came to drawing up stuff and eventually I got fed up and went elsewhere (after waiting for a whole freakin year and nothing to show for it ).
I got my first tattoo when I was 16, a black tribal lizard on my back. I also have a black tribalish tat on my forearm/wrist of a snake and eternity symbol, as well as an incomplete black tribalish partial sleeve. It doesn't really look incomplete, more just a big black tat that starts at the top of my shoulder and goes just past my elbow, so I'm giving it a rest for now and currently focusing on a different tat. Justin is currently drawing up a Halloween scene for my lower back, I'm really excited about it!
I agree, tats sure are as addictive and wallet-draining as herps.

I got my first tat at the age of 18. My parents are very conservative, so I had to wait until I could do it on my own. They are as follows chronologically:
1. blue rose with tribals on ankle 10cm long (blue rose is rare,
has thorns, not perfect, tribal looks like wind=freedom)
2. butterfly on hip (short lifespan=no regrets)
3. Celtic knotwork on upper back between shoulder blades 15-20
cm long (am Pagan, follow Celtic paths)
4. Celtic knotwork on lower back 15-20 cm wide
5. moon on left breast
6. sun on right breast
7. 2 intwined Celtic dragons on left upper arm/shoulder 7cm (my
marriage, husband has same tat same spot)
So those are my tats. I eventually want my entire back covered in Celtic knotwork. I've thought about getting a Celtic torque tat around my neck.

I have 3, a humming bird on my leg (tail wraps half way around leg, it was my 2nd tat), a cobra coiled around 2 blue roses on my chest (my first one), and a tribal that looks like 2 swans with necks bent on the side of my neck.
My partner has something like 8, she has lips on the side of her neck, then a tribal (looks like a person dancing) on the other side, the on the back of her neck she has a chinese symbol that means destiny.
she has a tribal with a red ball on one arm, rose tat on the other, small butterfly on her ankle, rose on the side of her other leg, then a sun on the back of her leg (harder to explain). That is all I can remember. lol

4 all black work.
In cronological order:
ankh and lotus (upper back just to the left of my spine)
tribal dragon with a black bamboo circle frame (right upper arm)
crow (left inner forearm)
orchid and snake skeleton (wraps around my left leg from knee to upper thigh)
I'll get the skeleton shaded one day since it's just an outline now. The outline took 2 sittings of 4 hours each and is hundreds of individual bones. My tattoo artist said it was worse than knot work due to the detail and I've had a hard time finding someone to finish it since I've lost touch with him. One of these days...
