Anyone keep these??

I just received this guy "because he bites" and want to make him as happy as I can 'til I find him a new home. Does anyone have experience with Egyptian rats? I will assume he's a fresh import, but can't be sure. Thanks.

Afraid I can't be much help, I know absolutely nothing about them -- but I just had to say, that is one KILLER looking snake! Crazy head on him... very cool!

Well he's all flattened out in a defensive (about to strike) pose, so that adds to his "venomous" look. haha. Some calm down well and others do not it seems. We'll see.

I'll try and find some pics of mine~

they are rear fanged animals but are great and strong snakes!!
To be honest they're awsome!!

Imagestation is starting not to have third party links now...so it's sometimes hard getting to view the photos. So you might want to right click on the red box with x and then click on 'show picture'

sorry for the trouble~

MouseKilla,

LOL...what do you mean...
I don't have every single speices of snakes in my collection (although I would love it...lol)

they are mildly venomous...kind of like the western hognose. But their size and strength is way pass the westerns~~

They have great length and good stregth~

ElapheMan, sorry. You just missed him. I gave him to someone with a small enough collection that he could be more attentive to him than I. They're not expensive as a rule, but I don't know off hand who might have some for sale. I think I saw one or 2 on the ks classifieds recently. I would have loved to get you that snake. Had no idea.

Its ok

Just wanted to make sure it got a good home.I have one that is pretty aggressive myself that I got from a local pet shop that got him in by mistake and asked if I wanted him. But I am interested in adopting snakes that nobody wants or just need a good home so keep me in mind if you hear of any more.
