Yup.

All motleys are suppose to have plain belly patterns.

But I have seen some really really motley looking animals with checked bellies...I mean...even by breeding two motleys together you can still get motley looking belly checkered 'motleys' out now...

sigh...with all these genes in the corns snakes..it'll take forever for us to understand all these corn morphs and genes....

but as of now in my collection 90% of the time motleys have plain belly patterns. I have kept some motley patterned, half plain bellied and half checkered corns back to see what happens to them~~

Very pretty amel motley Simon - almost a candy cane motley - such high contrast between the red and white. Thought I would share a picture of one of my amel motleys - amost no white - quite a different look.



Love the snow motleys too - will be great to see photos of those as they mature - especially if they retain the pink tones,
